What you will do in your working day

As a Fleet Apprentice you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the team to ensure a strong top team ethos.
  • Working closely with Area 10 Transport Manager & follow given instructions.
  • Communication with our senior management team & directors.
  • Supporting the development of character, skills, attitude and superior individual and team performance.
  • Ensuring that you conduct yourself in a business like and professional manner.
  • Ensuring that the workshop facilities, equipment, and tools are kept clean, tidy, and maintained, reflecting the company ethos.

The training you will be getting

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised qualification of Business Administrator Level 3. Your Apprenticeship typically takes 18 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support. You will also gain Functional skills if required. At the end of your Apprenticeship you will move into a guaranteed permanent position with Amey. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
