We are offering 3-year Advanced Apprenticeships in Plant Mechanics with training taking place 'on the job' and through block release.

What you will do in your working day

What will your role involve?

  • Service and maintenance tasks (commensurate with level of experience and training) under the direct supervision of an experienced mentor
  • Attendance at college on a block release basis
  • Completion of work-based training programme in accordance with college and company requirements

You will be provided with help through:

  • A dedicated mentor to help you throughout your career as an Apprentice
  • Regular progress reviews and feedback sessions

The training you will be getting

At the end of the 2 year Apprenticeship the Apprentice will obtain their Land Based Service Engineer Level 2 with an opportunity to progress onto the Land Based Service Technician Level 3.

The training at the college will be on block release (a week at a time) at Askham Bryan College in York.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once qualified the apprentice can progress into a Mobile Plant Engineer.
