What you will do in your working day

  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of information security controls and procedures 
  • Monitoring, investigating and resolving technical and cyber security related incidents, collaborating with other teams when required 
  • Monitoring, reporting and assuring the appropriate application of security related software and firmware updates and patches 
  • Defining protective monitoring requirements and assisting with their implementation 

The training you will be getting

  • You’ll study towards a level 3 Cyber Security Technician apprenticeship and gain experience in managing cyber hygiene and monitoring infrastructure.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • This apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in common cyber security tooling and techniques working alongside and learning from dedicated Security Analysts.
