What you will do in your working day

  • Candidates will be required to build a knowledge of civil engineering and will possess an interest in developing and progressing a career in the engineering consultancy.
  • Reporting to a Senior Technician / Engineer to assist with the delivery of a range of engineering infrastructure and environmental improvement projects for flood, coastal management, railways, reservoirs, highways and green engineering.
  • Working with clients across the public, private and third sectors, candidates will assist our engineering teams with the development and delivery of asset inspections, options appraisals, concept designs and detailed scheme designs.

The training you will be getting

  • BSc/BEng Civil Engineering
  • Apprenticeship training will be provided by Leeds Beckett University. The course will be delivered one day per week on campus.

  • We want our staff to reach their full potential and feel that their development is important to us.  Following successful completion of the apprenticeship a structured training and development plan will be put in place to support progression within your team.

The roles will involve a combination of office, site and remote working.
