What you will do in your working day

Working in the Underwriting area of our business, you'll support our team delivering a first-class service to our customers. We have direct contact with our customers and are responsible for maintaining a profitable book of Public Sector business, whilst supporting customers in managing the ever-changing risks they face.  
Our apprenticeships cater for a variety of different skillsets and interests, and you’ll receive all the training, support, and opportunities you need to set you on your way to a successful career with us.  
In Underwriting, you'll experience areas such as risk selection, pricing, document preparation and general customer service.

Alongside your day-to-day role, you‘ll complete an Insurance Practitioner L3 Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will take 15 months and will include an End Point Assessment. We’ll give you plenty of support and study time alongside your permanent role. 

The training you will be getting

The Insurance practitioner apprenticeship standard includes;

  • CII Certificate in London markets insurance
  • CII Certificate in Insurance
  • CILA Certificate in Insurance
