What you will do in your working day

The Chef de Partie’s primary role is to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, while following the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef; enforcing strict health and hygiene standards and troubleshooting any problems that may arise.

  • Daily preparation of food
  • Making desserts, some meat and vegetarian/vegan dishes
  • Buffets/small weddings and celebration catering
  • Also learning the health and safety management of the establishment
  • Learning kitchen skills
  • Chopping, prepping and serving
  • Helping to prep our menu daily
  • Helping maintain kitchen standards and stores
  • Assist with kitchen equipment standard checks
  • Assist with food preparation
