What you will do in your working day

Duties will include:

  • Communicating with relevant agencies to produce travel itineraries for business directors and employee events
  • Handle engineer bookings and incoming/outgoing paperwork for jobs/billing/filing
  • Arrange meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms and planning refreshments
  • Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
  • Assist in planning and arranging events, including organising catering
  • Handle expenses and billing cycles
  • Manage reception area and looks after visitors
  • Answering phone calls and transfers them as necessary
  • Drafting, formatting and printing relevant documents
  • Maintain stock lists and order office supplies as needed
  • Basic office area cleaning and presentation upkeep
  • Manage staff expense requests
  • Interact with directors and carry out their requests
  • Create agendas and take meeting notes
  • Assist in purchase orders and invoicing
  • Maintaining accurate records for employee holiday requests
  • Manage outgoing post and record data on special deliveries
  • Photocopy and file appropriate documents as needed
  • Attend workshops and conferences when requested
  • Take ownership of website functions and social media profiles

This role would also suit an individual who holds an interest in finance, as there will be ongoing support and development across different departments within the business and opportunities to enhance these skills.

The training you will be getting

  • Business Administration Level 3 qualification supported through one-to-one tutoring delivered predominantly online
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
