A vacancy has arisen for a Nursery Nurse Apprentice to work at our Mansfield branch with children aged 0 - 5 years, supporting them in all areas of their care and Development. Our fun, educational activities are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, so children can learn and develop at their own pace.

What you will do in your working day
- Nappy changing
- Supporting mealtimes
- Outdoor play
- Planning of activities and care
- Setting up and clearing away activities
- Child observations
- Some cleaning duties will also be involved
The training you will be getting
- Level 2 Early Year Practitioner
Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of Level 2
qualifications in maths and English, will need to achieve level 1
functional skills in these and work towards level 2 functional skills.
Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be
planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet
the individual needs of the apprentice.
The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job
activities and training.
