This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic early years apprentice to join Maple Tree Childcare. We are based in Brooklands, Sale and we are looking for a caring individual to learn and grow in our childcare setting. We offer a happy, safe and nurturing environment with a focus on children learning and developing through play.

Salary will be between £8236.80 and £12480.00 dependent on age and experience.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What you will do in your working day
- Ensuring each child's individual needs are met
e.g. basic care, such as help with dressing, eating
meals, changing nappies and making up bottles
- Helping to prepare and implement activities.
- Supervising children on trips out, for example to
go shopping or to the park.
- Encouraging learning through play.
- Working towards the apprenticeship standard provided
with an expectation of completion within the agreed timeframe.
The training you will be getting
Apprentice will be working towards the L2 Early Years Practitioner Standard.
Apprentice will be supported via an agreed training plan. Training will be discussed at enrolment and will include input from the employer, training provider and apprentice.
The apprentice will receive monthly workplace or virtual visits with a dedicated assessor.
There is no requirement for the selected apprentice to attend college unless the applicants require the successful completion of Functional Skills - Maths and English
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
There is a possibility of progression on to the L3 Early Years Educator upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
