Our Early Years Apprenticeship enables you to train and go on to practice as a qualified Early Years Practitioner or Educator. We are a small chain of nurseries and have 5 settings across the Berkshire area. Each of our nurseries have a dedicated management team who can support you in your training in a long term career with us.

What you will do in your working day

  • Contributing to provide a safe, happy, healthy, and caring environment for children to explore, develop and grow
  • Ensuring a high standard of care giving children individual attention so that their social, emotional, and intellectual needs are fully nurtured
  • Learning and developing your skills to assist in delivery of our 'learning through play’ and 'in the moment planning' educational ethos
  • Developing inclusive learning environment which are stimulating for children
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with parents and carers, team members and children
  • Ensuring that children’s welfare is a priority by using the nurseries safeguarding procedures to support you

The training you will be getting

You would be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner.

We use Chiltern Training Limited as our training provider. Learners attend college once every other week, once a month in person and once a month online. 

English and maths qualifications form a mandatory part of all apprenticeships and must be completed before an apprentice can pass through gateway. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Apprentices can go on to become more senior practitioners with us such as Room Leaders, Senior Nursery nurses and also Managers.
