What you will do in your working day

  • Support regarding Payments processes
  • Resolve Accounts Payable related client queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Payments Room Preparation (Creation of daily tracker file, allocations, chasers)
  • Payments Room Meeting (Hosting, advice, reallocation due to absence etc.)
  • Payments Room Aftercare (review of spreadsheet, follow up with authors and staff)
  • Payments Stats (weekly - Friday afternoon)
  • Provide assistance to client team members as and when required
  • Prepare cashbook journals, liaise with client teams to notify as ready for review (client teams)
  • Ensure all invoices are recorded, coded, and uploaded to SUN or Xero systems (client teams)
  • Conduct supplier call backs to verify supplier bank details
  • Prepare payment packs and coordinate with the payments team to ensure the successful approval of the payments
  • Develop and document process notes for the existing and new functions
  • Payments Other (Electronic Filing / New Folders etc. preparation for the new week)
  • Setting up online payments over multiple banking platforms
  • Confirmation of Bank Details / Supplier Maintenance (daily / weekly)
  • Setting aside time to contact teams for various reasons in relation to the above
  • Other ad hoc tasks / projects as requested by the client team

Banking Systems Administration:

  • General Banking Platforms / Systems Admin, emails reviewed and logging
  • Reviewing the addition of new users to multiple Banking Platforms
  • Reviewing and maintaining active user profiles
  • Reviewing the removal of leavers from Banking Platforms
  • Provide general Banking Systems support to the Client Teams
