What you will do in your working day

In this varied role, you will be supporting the admin team who will train you in a variety of tasks. You will learn:

  • All aspects of reception work
  • Welcoming visitors, ensuring that all documentation is completed & ensure they are signed in and out of the building
  • Receiving and making telephone calls
  • Booking, maintain and ensuring meeting rooms are prepared and ready for clients
  • Organising catering for client visits
  • Opening, sorting & distributing mail and returns
  • Sending outgoing mail.
  • Supporting all outgoing DPD labels/documentation ready for the end of day collection
  • Carrying out accurate daily docketing for all Royal Mail & Whistle  despatches
  • Liaising with Royal Mail contacts
  • Booking in warehouse deliveries by telephone and updating outlook calendar
  • Completing admin filing
  • Assisting other departments with administration duties when necessary
