What you will do in your working day
Due to the successful growth of an existing long-term contract, we are now seeking to add to our maintenance team and employ three air conditioning maintenance apprentices.
This role is predominantly based in Prison’s; therefore, the candidate must be 21 years of age or older, they must pass an enhanced DBS check and the prison service vetting procedure.
No previous associated qualifications or experience is required for this role. An excellent opportunity for those looking to get on the career ladder or for those seeking a change in career.
- Planned, preventative maintenance of HVAC and associated plant.

The training you will be getting
We are committed to supporting members of our team to learn new skills and gain valuable experience.
In the first year of the apprenticeship you will attend industry standard training and gain your Safety Passport, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height qualifications as a minimum.
Our Senior Engineers provide hands-on training in our workshops on purpose built training rigs.
You will then attend an F-Gas (2079) course which then enables you to join the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heat Pump NVQ Level 2.
The course is delivered by Hartlepool College, you will be expected to go in to the college to complete multiple choice tests but all other coursework is delivered in the workplace or by our Training Manager who will visit branch or you are welcome to go to head office in Teesside and train with other apprentices.
