What you will do in your working day

  • Maintaining data & databases in support of the Procurement function
  • Producing standard reports and analysing and presenting the results of pre-determined reports
  • Interacting with internal and external customers advising them on routine procurement procedures
  • Developing simple systems using own initiative with support and sign off
  • Using Procurement module of the U4BW (Agresso) system
  • Providing support across all areas of Procurement to develop range of skills and techniques
  • Promote procurement policies, processes and systems
  • Support of day to day administration within the Procurement team

The training you will be getting

Apprentice training will be 1 day a week with the option for distance learning.

The qualification will be L4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

Things to consider

Completion of CIPS L4 gains eligibility for equivalent membership of the Institute. CIPS L4 is a prerequisite for MCIPS (L6) and the full professional licence and offers the potential for Chartered status.
