    Position to require 5 days per week, including Saturdays 9am - 6pm.

What you will do in your working day

You will be working with our experienced butchery team learning the following:

  • Practical butchery skills;
  • All preparation of meat from carcass to products;
  • Roasting joints to sausages, burgers and BBQ products;
  • Presentation of products from raw meats to cooked products, pies and cheeses.

All incorporated with a qualification encompassing all aspects of the trade including safe working practices, hygiene and legislative requirements.

The training you will be getting

  • Butcher Standards Level 2 Qualification;
  • FDQ Level 2 Award in Food Safety;
  • FDQ Level 2 Award in Health and Safety;
  • FDQ Level 2 Award in Knife Skills;
  • Level 1/2 Functional skills in English and maths if required.
