Wow Hair located in Codsall Village, is looking to recruit a Hairdressing Apprentice in their busy salon. The apprentice will carry out various hairdressing tasks in the salon, and will be employed for 30 hours a week. Training will be in the salon and supported by Wow Hair Academy for the apprentice to gain their L2 Hairdressing qualification.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What you will do in your working day
The Hairdressing apprentice will carry out some of the following duties when starting their hairdressing apprenticeship.
- Supporting the client journey experience
- Supporting stylista
- Blow drying
- General housekeeping
- Attend training for practical
- Theory sessions to work towards their on-line tests
- Support with front of house greeting clients
The training you will be getting
Training will be one day a week, undertaken by the salon and Wow Hair Academy, an assessor will deliver training in practical and theory for the following units in the qualification.
- Client consultation
- Shampoo condition and treat the hair
- Style and finish
- Colouring hair
- Cutting hair
- One optional unit to choose
- EPA (end point assessment)
- FS in English and Maths L1 progression to L2 (if required)
Upon completion of the above you will gain your qualification L2 Diploma in Hairdressing Standards
