What you will do in your working day

  • New starter offer packs and all new starter related processes, including proof of right
  • to work checks, driving licence checks, reference and competence confirmation.
  • Management and maintenance of the HR and Training Database which is a live, self service system.
  • Advertise all vacancies both internally and externally, maintaining a strong relationship and liaison with recruitment agencies and management of direct applications via our website or job boards
  • Ensure all changes to terms and conditions are confirmed in writing.
  • Manage the daily control log to ensure that all absences are captured and recorded on the HR system and then managed by the line manager
  • Assist other members of the HR team to ensure that all staff related paperwork is actioned and recorded.
  • Identify areas for improvement/change and assist in implementing the changes.
  • Manage our leaver processes, including acknowledgement, liaison with Payroll, exit interview surveys and system removals.
  • Complete all reference requests.
  • Ensure all electronic files are kept up to date and audit the files to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure QUEST is up to date and regularly audit the system to ensure compliance
  • Assist the HR Manager and HR Advisor in the development of projects within the business i.e. IIP, Fatigue Management, Employee health and wellbeing
  • All other administrative duties as necessary.

You will be required to attend college once a week.
