    Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm, plus auction Saturdays for which a day in lieu is given.

What you will do in your working day

Main Duties:

  • Reception and customer service duties
  • Maintaining diary
  • Maintaining customer and stock database
  • Photographing auction items and processing images for website
  • Receiving items from customers, unpacking, listing and stocking
  • Assisting on busy auction days including operating the live online bidding platform
  • Taking customer payments

The training you will be getting

  • The learner will be studying the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
  • Day release to West Suffolk College.
  • Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

As this is a small team, there is an opportunity to learn all aspects of the auction business and to gain skills in different areas.

Things to consider

This is not purely an office based job, it will involve working outside and in a warehouse environment, with some heavy lifting. Note we also have an office dog.
