    TERM TIME ONLY role (39 weeks per year) The salary above is based on working year round. The salary for this term time only role will be £7,064.64. (30 hours per week x £5.28 per hour x 44.6 weeks per year, which includes 5.6 weeks of holiday pay)

    Monday-Friday, hours TBC but will be based around school times. There will need to be some flexibility to allow for CPD meetings, school clubs and occasional other duties e.g lunch time supervision, class cover.

Delivery Method:

  • College attendance every other week on a Friday afternoon
  • Online portfolio to update with learning and development completed onsite
  • Visits from your Trainer/Assessor in the workplace

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

This apprenticeship would be an excellent first step into any career working in education. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, individuals can move into other school-based positions having experienced working in a vibrant inner city school.

About the employer

We are a large, three form entry, Infant school based in the Northfield area of the city. The school has a 90-place nursery and children leave the school at the end of year 2. The school is highly respected within the community for its pastoral care and support with SEND.
