What you will do in your working day

You will be required to carry out various daily administrative and process functions accurately and work under supervision to assist the team in delivering professional, high-quality, and customer-focused services.

Daily roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Deal directly with customers both electronically and on the phone
  • Provide 2nd level investigation support for customer queries and incidents
  • Keep detailed records of customers interactions
  • Monitor application system logs
  • Support during the roll-out of applications

The training you will be getting

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification. The qualification has core knowledge elements, before branching out into one of the following pathways:

  • IT Support Technician
  • Network Technician
  • Digital Communications Technician

Your Tutor, Pathway Planner and Employer will decide the best pathway for you to follow. All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There is the opportunity for a full time IT Engineer role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
