What you will do in your working day

Support for the Office Manager:

  • Maintain the attendance register
  • Update and maintain pupil data in Arbor and CPOMS
  • Assist with admissions data as directed
  • To undertake the administration of ParentPay and Eduspot and be able to liaise with parents

Support for the School Office:

  • Act as Receptionist
  • Undertake a range of office duties, including photocopying, sending mail, maintaining photocopiers, phone calls as directed, responding to emails
  • Maintain manual confidential records relating to pupils
  • To act as First Aider (training will be given)
  • To make phone calls as required
  • Others duties as directed

Support of the School:

  • Work as part of the St John’s Primary School team
  • Total confidentiality is required in all areas. No information regarding Admissions, Children in School or Financial matters is to be given out, unless directed to do so
  • Comply with and assist with the development of policies and procedures including, but not limited to, those relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person and undertake relevant training
  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
  • Appreciate and support the role of other professionals
  • Liaise with professionals from outside agencies
  • Attend relevant meetings as required
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
