What you will do in your working day

A normal day would include:

  • Opening client files
  • Logging post
  • Reviewing documentation received
  • Updating our CRM (customer relationship management system)
  • Drafting letters under supervision
  • Inputting data and recording information accurately
  • Maintain ongoing contact with the client
  • Use and become skilled in the company’s IT systems including MS Office
  • Communicating with colleagues and clients in a professional manner
  • Ensuring the businesses policies are adhered to especially in areas of privacy and GDPR
  • Take responsibility for the work you carry out
  • Learn and understand the relevant legislation that applies to the position

  • With the right person with the right attitude, and our in-house training, this person could go on to progress to a paralegal

  • Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role. We also offer ‘on the job’ training with our more senior administrators and paralegals to support you

About the employer

Consumer Rights Solicitors was established in 2017 to focus on financial claims, in particular large financial claims against mortgage lenders who have engaged in mis-selling and misconduct. We offer a range of financial litigation services to consumers to ensure their rights are protected in relation to credit cards, loans, mortgages and hire purchase agreements, and other associated financial products. We are based in Manchester City Centre with Principal Kavon Hussain, Kavon qualified as a barrister in 2001 and cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2009. He has been working on financial litigation since 2007 and has run the litigation department at his previous firm, at which he was a partner.
