What you will do in your working day

You will spend the first 2 years moving around the business, gaining Knowledge and skills in various disciplines including Mechanical and Electrical design through Production, Development and Process Engineering

Tasks include:

  • Problem solving and fault finding on Devices
  • Design and manufacture of jigging
  • R&D activities on new devices

The training you will be getting

  • You will start with a block release at Colchester Institute to master the basic engineering disciplines (PEO level 2 qualification) and continue with day release for the duration of the scheme to gain your qualifications HNC, HND and Degree, which will give you a level 6 degree Apprenticeship

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There are a number of pathways you may take upon completion of the apprenticeship, some may want to move toward technical specialist, some may want to move in more managerial roles. All are possible for those who excel during their apprenticeship
