What you will do in your working day

  • To maintain all Customer records and documentation using the Company’s internal CRM System (AccuServe).
  • To maintain online customer records accurately.
  • To help with production and collation of reports for the Contract Manager.
  • To provide support and assist where possible in answering and resolving day to day customer queries, answering the telephone and responding to emails.
  • Throughout the apprenticeship, to acquire exceptional customer service skills, seeking advice from the wider team where in doubt and gain confidence in resolving queries to a satisfactory conclusion referring them up the line.
  • To comply at all times with the letter and spirit of the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy, Equality & Diversity Policy and Code on Business Conduct and Behaviour.
  • Carry out such other duties as are reasonably requested by the jobholder’s line manager from time to time.

The training you will be getting

Working towards completing Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard. Work based learning with monthly workshops at Hertford Regional College.

Things to consider

Ideally applicants will have a full driving licence and their own transport as the public transport links to our office are not great; we are not easily accessible by bus without a significant walk on roadsides without proper paths in places.

About the employer

Purdy Contracts Limited are a prime Contractor for a number of Local Authority & Social Housing authorities providing planned, reactive repair, service, emergency and installation works for domestic and commercial gas, electric and build services primarily around London and the South East areas. We have a Customer Service Centre in Romford, and remote site offices based in Hackney and Erith, Kent. This position will be based at our Head Office in Mott Street, E4 7RW (near Waltham Abbey).
