What you will do in your working day

Working within our Die Maintenance department requires exceptional attention to detail to ensure the quality control measures you develop are transferred to finished vehicle panels. Tooling is used to produce all the external parts seen on a car by the customer and many of the structural internal parts.

Your skills will support the development of the current and future line up of Nissans vehicles including launch of new models, helping to maintain the quality of the finished vehicle and production processes. Breakdown recovery and planned maintenance is part of your daily roll.

Things to consider

As the scheme incorporates our graduate scheme, the duration is 60 months in total for our Die maintenance/maintenance apprenticeships, as opposed to the typical duration of 36 months as stated on Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education Ability to travel to and from the Nissan Sunderland plant

About the employer

As a member of our Production Quality Support team, you will investigate the quality of our vehicles and components, working alongside your colleagues to ensure quick analysis of concerns, followed by the development and implementation of solutions. You will also work cross functionally with other departments including Engineering, Production, and Design to guarantee the highest possible quality standards across all our vehicles, ensuring the best possible driving experience for our customers.
