What you will do in your working day

  • Shortlist and present suitably qualified applicants against defined job vacancies
  • Manage the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the relevant manager, candidate and internal teams
  • Manage and profitably develop client relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to fill jobs
  • Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that candidate applications are processed efficiently
  • Utilise job boards effectively to advertise vacancies
  • Attend job fairs/events as required and represent the company as an ambassador
  • Advise managers and candidates on the legal, regulatory and ethical requirements and appropriate codes of practice when recruiting
  • Advise candidates and managers on employee rights and responsibilities including equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (vacancies taken, calls made, interviews etc).
  • Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates and managers
  • Conduct regular service reviews with both managers and candidates to ensure continuous improvement

The training you will be getting

Recruitment Consultant Level 3. 

Functional skills in maths and English (if required).

How training will be delivered is to be confirmed. 

Education - GCSE or equivalent (preferred).

Experience - Recruiting: 1 year (preferred).
