What you will do in your working day

Role 

  • To support the NRS communications team and NRS sustainability team in delivering on their strategies
  • To work with the socio-economic leads to review and process applications to the socio-economic fund, working to criteria set by the NDA
  • To work with socio-economic leads to build relationships with and maximise benefits from existing recipients of socio economic funding
  • Work with the communications team to help to promote the socio-economic scheme and its recipients internally and externally – this may involved writing copy for press releases and articles as well as visiting projects we have supported
  • Work with sustainability leads to help make and implement recommendations across all areas of the business
  • Look for innovative ways in which the business can proactively increase its sustainability credentials and promote and encourage these initiatives among the workforce
  • Support the work of the sustainability coordinators on sites

Things to consider

There is a requirement to live within a commutable distance to the sites where the role is based. Due to the remote location of the sites, public transport availability is limited.
