What you will do in your working day

Logistics is more than getting the product from A to B. At DHL Supply Chain we combine management and value-added services with our customised, integrated logistics solutions which drive resilience, and efficiency, improve quality, and create competitive advantage. Our Data Teams assist the operational and Functional Teams in creating meaningful data which allows informed decisions to be made to ensure we are operating with financial and KPI agreed terms

Working within our freight planning Team, you will work with a passionate team focusing on the below and many more.

Duties will include:

  • Ensure compliance regulations are followed at all times to ensure no delays
  • Working with Carriers to transport goods to meet the Customer's requirements.
  • Creation of GMR/GVMS vital documents to ensure carrier can move through ports successfully.
  • Meet all target KPIs

  • Route cause analysis

  • Stakeholder Management

The training you will be getting

  • As part of the International Customs Apprenticeship (International Freight Forwarding) Level 3 Apprenticeship, they will complete the learning online through SR Apprenticeships and on-site learning at their dedicated DHL Supply Chain site

  • We want Apprentices to build their careers, with the option to complete a  further Apprenticeship after completing Level 3 International Freight Forwarding
