What you will do in your working day

Murphy are looking to recruit an apprentice heavy vehicle technician to help repair and maintain our fleet of heavy commercial vehicles. 

During this apprenticeship you will learn how to: 

  • Service, inspect and maintain vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards 
  • Work safely in the workshop environment 
  • Learn how to use a variety of tools and equipment 
  • Diagnose and fault find using a variety of equipment 
  • Maintain and update service records to company standards

The training you will be getting

As part of this apprenticeship, you will follow the Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Level 3 apprenticeship standard which takes 3 years to complete. 

For this apprenticeship you will be based at our Ollerton Plant Depot, New Ollerton, Nottingham, NG22 9PZ.
