    Some uniform provided, share of tips, staff social events. Wage will increase after a successful probationary period followed by regular pay reviews.

The training you will be getting

  • You will achieve a Commis Chef Apprenticeship, learning the knowledge, skills and behaviors through on and off-the-job training
  • You will attend the Buxton Campus weekly, college transport available, spending time with other apprentices in the industry-standard training kitchens.
  • Studying towards Functional Skills qualifications as part of your apprenticeship if you have not already achieved GCSE grade 4/C or above or equivalent in maths and English

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • We envisage this as being a permanent role, on completion of your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to access further training through colleges or through national contacts that we have right up to Michelin star level
