What you will do in your working day

Your primary role will be to learn from and support our business development team, learning the skills sets required to become a fully integrated member of the business development team. This will involve responsibilities such as:

  • Generating and following up on leads – reactively and proactively acquiring new business
  • Build & obtain a thorough knowledge of the company & the technologies we develop
  • Learn & understand the different commercial structures of each technology in order to demonstrate benefits of each to potential clients
  • Efficiently handle smaller opportunities through to closing
  • Develop capabilities to manage the sales process & client engagement end to end
  • Hand larger, qualified opportunities to the senior team to work alongside and help build the knowledge base which will allow you the opportunity to handle yourself in time
  • Take ownership of clients and their ongoing communications

The training you will be getting

You will work towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship. You will have a dedicated industry expert to guide and coach you through components of your programme and you'll experience a range of different learning opportunities, including;

Things to consider

Potentially may be included in some site visits during apprenticeships to help further their knowledge but this would always be accompanied. Mostly a desk based role.
