    Salary included above is for the 1st 12 months whilst on programme. After month 12, this salary increases. If you are aged 21 or over on your first anniversary, your salary will increase in line with national minimum wage.

What you will do in your working day

Duties may include: ​

  • Learning about the different business functions and what our contacting business does​
  • Reviewing and preparing client accounts​
  • Quantifying projects from drawings ​
  • Generating payments and sub-contract purchase orders​
  • Understand Tarmac's financial cycle and how and when documents need to be submitted to meet tight deadlines
  • Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed!​

  • Construction QS Technician Level 4​ Apprenticeship Standard
  • Block release College day

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

We would hope that all our apprentices would remain in our business as we see them as our future leaders.

Progression roles include Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Working outdoors. Age: 18. Driving Licence required. Role is easily commutable from Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Swadlincote, Woodville, Measham, Burntwood, Fazeley, Aldridge, Shenstone, Polesworth and Newhall.
