    Salary included above is for the 1st 12 months whilst on programme. After month 12, this salary increases. If you are aged 21 or over on your first anniversary, your salary will increase in line with national minimum wage.

What you will do in your working day

Duties may include: ​

  • Learning about the different business functions and what our contacting business does​
  • Reviewing and preparing client accounts​
  • Quantifying projects from drawings ​
  • Generating payments and sub-contract purchase orders​
  • Understand Tarmac's financial cycle and how and when documents need to be submitted to meet tight deadlines
  • Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed!​

The training you will be getting

  • Apprentices will attend university 1 day per week to work towards achieving their Quantiy Surveying degree, the remaining 4 days will be a mixture of office & site based work.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

We would hope that all our apprentices would remain in our business as we see them as our future leaders. Succsession after this apprenitceship could include assitant Quantity Surveyor to senior Quantity Surveyor.

Working outdoors. Engaging with numerous departments. Driving Licence: Desirable. Role is easily commutable from Norwich, Wymondham, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Sheringham, Thetford, Swaffham, Fakenham, Cromer, Kings Lynn, Downham Market, Beccles, Gillingham, The Broads, Aylesham, North Walsham and Dereham.
