Summary
Studland Trekking Centre are looking to recruit two people as equine apprentices. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly stable situated in one of the most beautiful coastal locations in the UK.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship, and all training is completed at the employers premises, with the employer and supported by Haddon Training.
You will also be supported in completing Functional Skills in maths and English if not already achieved.

Other requirements
This role will require working outside in all weathers, so any applicant must be prepared to do that. There is no accommodation on site, but there is an option to bring your own horse into working livery if needed.

We’re a small friendly stables situated in the picturesque village of Studland on the Dorset coast, 10 minutes from Swanage and 30 mins from Bournemouth via the Sandbanks chain ferry. With 3 miles of sandy beaches and dunes, clifftop horse rides along National Heritage sites and 3000 acres of forest and heathland, we are lucky enough to offer some of the most stunning riding in the UK.
After this apprenticeship
There is a possibility of a full time job on completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship or further development onto a L3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship programme.
