What you will do in your working day

About the employer

Wedge-Wood is a main contractor to the retail licensing trade, i.e. pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels; Refurbishing, re-building and extending premises. We manage the entire refurbishment job, including all sub-contractors. In-house capabilities include: Purpose made joinery for contracts, i.e. counters, back fitting, screens, wine cabinets, dumb waiters, staircases and windows. Manufacture of anything made from timber and sheet material, including specialist decorative finishes to these products. New build work. Complete refurbishments. ‘Sparkle’ jobs – these are more superficial refurbishments that can be done every two to three years. These are usually fast-track jobs and take roughly seven to ten days.
