What you will do in your working day

The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

Full training will be given for the role which will involve:

  • Telephone duties – dealing with customers on the phone, handling sales, returns and delivery enquiries
  • Filing – handling Purchase orders andmatching to delivery notes ensuring the correct stock is delivered
  • General Office administrator work
  • Progression to inputting invoices etc into Sage accounts system, ensuring suppliers are paid on time

  • Level 3 Business Administration Standard
  • All training will be delivered within the workplace

  • The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management positions or senior support roles
