What you will do in your working day

  • Assist mechanics in diagnosing and troubleshooting automotive problems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
  • Conduct inspections to identify and assess vehicle repairs
  • Replace worn or damaged parts
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive issues
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Document repairs and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship
  • Training will be at Bridgwater & Taunton College- Taunton Campus
  • Training is block release of one week blocks every 4-5 weeeks for the duration of the aprpenticeship
  • Training location to be confirmed

  • Opportunity to become a certified automotive technician and part of the team on a full-time permanent basis
