What you will do in your working day

  • To assist with data entry for the National Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme
  • To actively monitor appointments for AAA screening using the relevant screening software systems
  • To handle any queries or telephone enquiries in an accurate and professional manner
  • To deal with patient's notes and ensure they are kept safely, properly updated and the confidentiality of the information contained within is maintained
  • Manage own workload by tasks accordingly in order to meet screening targets and deadlines
  • Carry out general administration duties e.g. filing, photocopying etc.

The training you will be getting

You will undertake the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship which will be delivered remotely or on-site, one day per week.

Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications in English and maths (if required).

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

On successful completion of this apprenticeship you will be supported to progress into a permanent Band 2 Business Administration role within the team.
