What you will do in your working day
- The successful candidate will be part of a busy sales office at a steel stockholding warehouse and will involve a variety of activities
- The candidate will be expected to take and deal with sales enquiries from customers via telephone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Training will be provided so that you become familiar with the variety of steel products that we sell, as well as how to calculate costs, selling prices and sales margins
- Quoting and processing orders will involve using a cloud-based stock inventory system. Part of quoting will also involve liaising with suppliers to procure costs and availability
- During the apprenticeship you will become an integral part of the sales team and will generate profit that the company and all its employees will benefit from
