What you will do in your working day

  • Log enquiries
  • Check content of tenders against contents list
  • Checks with client if request is at tender stage / secured work / preferred bidder stage
  • Advises client of intention to tender
  • Decline unsuitable tenders
  • Assisting with maintaining the Bid Log
  • Assisting with Bid return deadlines
  • Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ)
  • Downloading, filing and recording relevant tender documents, scans and submits
  • Organising, processing and filing queries, amendments, changes and revisions
  • Chase tender progress and assist with review of submitted bids
  • Assisting with obtaining material prices for Tenders
  • Plan measuring
  • Assisting with pricing of tenders

The training you will be getting

The apprentice will gain a Level 3 in Business Administration. The work and training will take place onsite in our Borougbbridge office. Training will be done online once a week with their tutor. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Opportunity to progress in other areas of the business or within the team they are currently working in. We do yearly reviews with staff to see where they want their career to go.
