What you will do in your working day
You will support our Senior Engineers by undertaking various activities.
- You will learn how to use relevant software and programs such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Microdrainage to visually see the process of what we produce, how it is planned and risks are managed before anything gets built.
- You will be taught how to produce calculations and technical reports, that help our clients to make informed decisions.
The training you will be getting
- Our apprenticeships allow you to learn whilst you earn as you study for an academic qualification
- You’ll get the chance to expand your knowledge by attending university on block release at Exeter University. You will gain a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Following on from this apprenticeship and completion of your end point assessment, you will progress into an appropriate junior civil engineering role
