This role involves testing, disassembly, diagnostics, parts replacement, reassembly, final testing and administration. The job is varied in a relaxed environment with scope for advancement. You will be working alongside experienced staff who will help the apprentice to acquire the knowledge and practical skills required.

What you will do in your working day
- As a member of the Workshop team this role covers a wide variety of tasks within the Service Department
- The primary role is the refurbishment and preparation of Sharp and Ricoh multifunctional machines (MFDs).
- This involves pre checking for faults, full disassembly and rebuild in preparation for delivery-installation
The training you will be getting
The training for this course is 1 day a week at college and 4 days a week with the employer.
End result will be an apprenticeship as an Engineering operative
Level 2 (maintenance route). You will also be skilled at L1 maths & English.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Progression route could possibly be on site maintenance engineer.
