What you will do in your working day

We are looking for people with a passion for caring to join our team and gain a recognised qualification.

The role will involve helping our service users to live a fulfilled and happy life, overcoming challenges to their day to day living, promoting their independence skills, wishes and aspirations.

You will also learn how Documentation and communication amongst the team play a key part in day to day life in the care sector.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include;

  • Personal care and support
  • Complying with Health and safety regulations, policies and procedures
  • Being a team player
  • Recording and documentation
  • Good communication

You will be full time employed, with an annual leave entitlement. You will also have the opportunity to come along on the service users trips away. You are also entitled to free meals whilst on duty.

The training you will be getting

  • It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
  • This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
  • This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker - Level 2 Apprenticeship.
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.

Working hours Please note that anyone under the age of 18 can only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours should be amended accordingly, to fall in line with the legislation.
