What you will do in your working day

Expand clientele by promoting services on social media.

Provide excellent customer service and have good communication skills.

Provide beauty services to existing and new clientele.

 

 

The training you will be getting

Applicant will attend Hugh Baird College 1 day per week on day release for 20% off the job training and work in salon 4 days per week.

Training and developing professional and personal skills. Apprentice will work towards achieving a L3 Advanced Beauty Therapy qualification.

Applicant will complete L2 functional skills if required.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Spa therapist working in a commercial salon, cruise ships & hotel spa's.

Applicant may develop further skills in the sector to offer specific industry services such as aesthetics, make-up, TV & media work or personal assistant.

Strong knowledge of beauty therapies and body and face treatments. Ability to identify and assess skin imperfections. Knowledge of techniques employed for therapeutic, beauty and relaxing massage. Ability to perform manicures and pedicures. Strong interpersonal skills. Client-centred approach. Selling skills. Flexible approach to working hours.
