What you will do in your working day
- Assist in the preparation and production of plans, designs, and documentation to relevant codes of practice and industry standards
- Operate bespoke software which includes working with mapping and planning systems
- Assist colleagues on site visits, take photographs and log details of visits
- Carry out calculations and data analysis
- Provide general administrative tasks such as processing information, creation and collating of documents, photocopying
The training you will be getting
- You will receive a Level 3 apprenticeship in Civil engineering technician
- All training will be delivered face to face, with a 1-day release per week
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Upon completion of your apprenticeship, the vision is that you move into a permanent role within the department or wider council.
