What you will do in your working day

Your responsibilities will be: 

  • Organise shipments with hauliers and customers
  • Update finishing and prep plans with boxes produced- check plan adherance
  • Update finishing and prep plans with last material arrival
  • Create Delivery Notes
  • Attend Daily Production Meeting and other necessary meetings
  • Assisting with Purchase Orders
  • Update Import File/Manning File
  • Manage the inbounds/ outbounds calendar
  • Update supplier schedule
  • Attend Weekly Lockdown Meeting
  • Assist with any job transfers from Leicester/ France / Glasgow
  • Communicate with suppliers- order acknowledgement/ deliveries
  • Check inbounds/ schedule delivery
  • Learn about the production processes- spend some time in the factory to understand
  • Visit other sites
  • Communicate with other departments- Production/ Technical/ Project Team

The training you will be getting

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Once a month online workshops delivered through EKC Group
  • Trainer Visits to the Apprentice's workplace
