Equine Groom Apprenticeship - Showjumping Seren Equestrian Ltd
Seren Equestrian Ltd are looking for a Equine Groom apprentice to join their top-class pony show jumping and sales livery yard. The successful candidate will be provided the foundation and support to develop their skills and launch a career in the equine sector.

Accommodation will be available from the end of January 2024. Livery for own horse is available.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What you will do in your working day
The successful candidate's duties will be as followed:
- General horse care duties
- Mucking Out
- Turning Out
Opportunities are available to groom at competitions and to travel.
The training you will be getting
All training for the apprenticeship will take place at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be delivered by Haddon Training.
Equine Groom Level 2.
Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for level 2 English and maths prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
After completion of the apprenticeship, there is a possibility to enrol onto the advanced apprenticeship (level 3) or premanant employement for the right candidate.

You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
- qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field
- industry or sector experience

If your application is successful, you will have a chance to discuss your relevant prior learning or experience with your training provider and employer. You will all need to agree any adjustments to your training plan.
