What you will do in your working day

  • Learning how to become a apprentice insurance broker
  • After learning the computer software, the candidate will be able to generate insurance quotations for car and home insurance, leading to commercial business quotes in time
  • Learning how to report and follow up claims made by clients for damages and accidents
  • Scanning files and linking to our database and filing paper files away
  • After training the candidate will be able to receive and make telephone calls to clients and insurance companies in regard to claims and premium payments

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • After the apprenticeship is completed, there is a recognised qualification called a Cert CII, which could be made available to the candidate to increase their learning and understanding of the insurance industry
  • The Level 3 Certificate in Insurance is a core qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the profession. The Certificate develops core knowledge and confidence of the key disciplines needed before choosing which area you would wish to focus your future career
  • It provides a grounding in basic general insurance principles including the regulatory environment, key disciplines of underwriting and claims, in addition to popular products such as motor, household, healthcare and packaged commercial insurances

Offices are located just out of the town centre, we are on a bus route but are just a ten-minute walk from the bus station.
