Our solicitor apprenticeship offers you an exciting opportunity to work on deals with international clients, while also studying and working towards a level 7 solicitor apprenticeship standard. You’ll be part of a team of partners, associates, trainees and paralegals. You can expect to be helping our lawyers with a variety of tasks.

    £5,000 bonus upon joining. Pay increases each year. Year 1 = £25,000 Year 2 = £30,000 Year 3 = £35,000 Year 4 = £40,000 Year 5 = £48,500 Year 6 = £53,500

    Monday - study day. Tuesday - Friday contracted hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm. This may differ depending on how busy the team and workload are. You may be asked to work into the evening.

What you will do in your working day

Monday will be your study day where you will work towards your degree and SQE qualification.

During the week, duties may vary according to the specialist area that the apprentice is based within. However, tasks may involve:

  • Carrying out factual and legal research
  • Assisting with the opening, progress and closing of matters
  • Reviewing documents
  • Drafting legal documents
  • Handling confidential information
  • Speaking to clients

The training you will be getting

Our apprentices will have one day a week (Monday) studying online at BPP University. During the first years of the apprenticeship, students will work towards getting a law degree.

In the final two years, the apprentices will work towards their SQE qualifications and, once passed, will be eligible to apply to become a qualified solicitor. This is a Level 7 qualification. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once qualified, the solicitor apprentices will be able to apply for newly qualified associate roles, currently earning £90,000 per year.
