What you will do in your working day

Your duties will include:

  • Carry out routine calibrations, repairs, planned preventative maintenance and, test and certification procedures as required
  • Carry out the testing and set up of systems prior to despatch to customers
  • Take ownership of the resolution of individual issues and follow through to an effective conclusion
  • Prioritise issues and effectively communicate with customers and Vitalograph personnel on status and progress
  • Available, in agreement with the Service Manager, to visit customer sites to resolve an ongoing issue, support field personnel or assist in installations
  • Inform and advise customers on Vitalograph and 3rd party products and solutions
  • Promote Vitalograph and 3rd party products, services, and solutions, actively seeking and identifying sales opportunities and passing all relevant details to the territory sales representative using the CRM
  • Ensure all customer related records in the CRM and any other database are complete, accurate and current
  • Support sales, service, and marketing activities
  • Assist in improving existing internal processes relating to sales, service, and customer support, offering suggestions for business process improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide relevant reports and statistics as required

  • After the apprenticeship there may be the option to either stay In House or move to a Field Servicing Role

Things to consider

The role is mostly based in house but there is also a requirement to go out to customer sites to service or resolve issues. Customers are Medical so Doctors Surgery's, Hospitals, as well as Industry sites. Candidates will also be required to move equipment for installations so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
